Scientific studies have been performed on the electromagnetic field of healers and concluded that the electromagnetic field around the hands of these people have a measurement of 10(-3) Gauss, which is 1000 times higher than the heart and 1,000,000 times higher than the brain. Healers also have high electric voltage patterns, 60 volts, during a healing session as measured by electrometers.

The studies also found that the electromagnetic energy around the hands of the healers has a pulsing frequency of 0.3 - 3.0 Hertz, and the most common frequency is 8-10 Hertz with a sweeping and scanning quality. Non-healers cannot generate the same electromagnetic field, frequency or pulsing phenomenon.

Other medical researchers have used neurological biofeedback technology to measure the changes in the body of a healer when they relax into the state of consciousness required for their work. This technology measures the function of the central nervous system. They found that the subjects' heart rate, blood pressure, skin resistance, electroencephalogram (EEG) and electromyography (EMG) measurements demonstrate a state of calm and relaxation without any sign of excitability. When these people are in a calm state their electromagnetic field will synchronize (entrain) with the micro pulsations of the earth's energy field, the Schumann Resonance.
