Scientists have always been searching for the eluding link between spirituality and science. There are some who believe that the fundamental essences of the universe are energy and information. As per the current understanding energy and matter always co- existed and is considered to be one and the same.

Over the past half a century or so some of the scientists realized the existence of an unknown energy that operates on the mental and emotional levels often causing phenomena that are classified as paranormal. Several attempts are made to scientifically study the miraculous powers of saints, God men, healers, and practitioners of holistic/ alternative medicines etc. The attempts did not result in any significant success.

Life Energy/ consciousness/ information signals are found to be transmitted by a unique individual Mr. Mahendra Kumar Trivedi. He defies the laws of human physiology and has been performing what a layman would call 'miracles'.  Several thousands of people in many countries all around the world suffering from physical, mental, spiritual and emotional disorders within last 12 years have been cured by Mr. Trivedi's physical touch/ thought intervention.

Are these Placebo effects or Real? Are these Placebo effects or Real? To rule out the possibility of placebo effect and for deeper understanding Mr. Trivedi had conducted thousands of experiments in Life sciences and Materials science to observe the impact of his blessing(Divine energy) through thought intervention/ physical touch on several seeds/ plants/ trees, pathogenic bacterias, fungi, viruses, Metals ,Ceramics, Polymers, Organic & Inorganic compounds with the help of most sophisticated technologies available with the existing science. The results are miraculous, way beyond the comprehension and knowledge of present sciences. Typically, the DNA finger printing revealed that the energy caused DNA polymorphism up to 69% in crops and 79% in bacteria. As per the current understanding the gene sequences never alter for thousands of generations till evolution occurs (due to the primary forces between the genes as the latter are composed of atoms). The efforts of the scientists, using a variety of experimental techniques to alter the gene sequences had so far met with moderate success. Perhaps for the first time Mr. Trivedi has demonstrated the alteration of the gene sequences by huge proportion and that to by only his thought intervention/ physical touch.

With no cure and vaccine for AIDS currently available, the only way to stop Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) is to prevent its spread. Similar issues have been observed in the viral infections caused due to Hepatitis C Virus  (HCV) and Cytomegalo virus (CMV).

Thus, increasing viral resistance as well as the complications of anti-viral treatments with debilitating side effects play very important role in decisions regarding anti-viral drug therapy. Existing research methodologies often focus on decreasing further replication of the virus rather than directly attacking the virus itself.

Concerned at the failure to combat these viral infections by the present treatment modalities, Guruji had decided to observe the impact of his energy on 4 different viruses by targeting the virus itself in plasma state.

Guruji had designed a virology project under the name ‘Nano’ in the Microbiology Laboratory of P.D. Hinduja National Hospital and Medical Research Centre, Mumbai, India – accredited by The College of American Pathologists, where the study was undertaken. The laboratory personnel handed over the extracted known plasma viral loads of HIV (31samples), Hepatitis ‘C ’(30 samples), Hepatitis ‘B’ (31 samples) and CMV (5 samples) to Guruji in parafilm sealed eppendorf vials procured from their stored stock cultures. Guruji had blessed all samples through thought intervention, briefly touching the tubes with his hand with the intention of producing either a decrease or increase in the viral load, the process taking about 3 minutes. After blessing, all the samples were stored at – 70⁰C temperature and were analyzed after 10 days. The lab personnel measured the plasma viral loads of all viruses by PCR (Roche Cobas Amplicor analyzer) and analyzed the data. Guruji had participated only in the blessing part, which is referred to as Treatment in the project report.

The results revealed that Guruji’s energy had reduced the viral load significantly and in some cases up to 99% only within 10 days.

Surprisingly, 33 % viral loads after analysis showed an increase which is unexplainable by the current theories as all the samples after blessing were stored at – 70⁰C temperature under which no increase or decrease is possible as this is the dormant stage for viruses.

Viruses are not plants, animals, or bacteria, but they are the quintessential parasites of the living kingdom. Viruses are not living organisms in the strict sense of the word. Without a host cell, viruses cannot carry out their life-sustaining functions or reproduce. They cannot synthesize proteins, because they lack ribosomes and must use the ribosomes of their host cells to translate viral messenger RNA into viral proteins. Viruses cannot generate or store energy in the form of adenosine triphosphate (ATP), but have to derive their energy, and all other metabolic functions, from the host cell.

The increase observed in the viral count in the plasma stored at – 70⁰C temperature indicated the existence of factors unknown to the science, which are able to motivate the replication of viruses and cause them to respond to the energy in a very specific manner. The increase indicated that normal mechanisms of replication could be bypassed, and the virus could also apparently pick up the requisite metabolic energy in absence of host cells, a phenomenon that needs to be further investigated. This finding is unique as no scientific technique adopted in the laboratories has ever reported such phenomenon till to date.

While science has so far remained unable to enter into questions regarding ‘consciousness / Spiritualism’ and ordered forces or energies which interconnect materials on a plane of higher information, the results of the current experiments prove the involvement of spiritual energy that still needs to be investigated in a rigorous scientific manner.
