Scientists have always been searching for the eluding link between spirituality and science. There are some who believe that the fundamental essences of the universe are energy and information. As per the current understanding energy and matter always co- existed and is considered to be one and the same.
Over the past half a century or so some of the scientists realized the existence of an unknown energy that operates on the mental and emotional levels often causing phenomena that are classified as paranormal.
Several attempts are made by scientists whenever they got the opportunity to scientifically investigate the miraculous powers of spiritual gurus, leaders, healers or masters. These attempts did not result in any significant success. No wonder such claims are considered as fraudulent and limited to psychological effects. Instead of being hypothetical, these powers and the resulting cure of various diseases should be supported by factual or scientifically observable evidence. In the absence of the latter, any apparent effect, even when observed is considered by scientific world as placebo effect. On the other hand, the real effect on humans can be seen by the changes at the cellular level, or in mechanisms in the brain such as the sensor kinase systems which are involved with maintaining equilibrium and energy states of the body.
Guruji’s energy, can effectively impact the human cell. However, as human experimentation is limited to few specific organizations and also are subject to approval from ethics committees, he had decided to directly work with microbes and viruses that affect human health and sometimes lead to human death. A direct impact on the pathogenicity of the microbes, thus prove that his energy can impact diseases in humans or in human cells.
Guruji designed a microbiology project under the name of ‘Nano’, which took place in a laboratory accredited by The College of American Pathologists, namely, the Microbiology Laboratory of P.D. Hinduja National Hospital and Medical Research Centre, Mumbai, India.
This project was divided into 3 sections as follows:
- Bacteriology
- Virology
- Mycobacteriology (Tuberculosis)
The automated machines used in this project have all been approved by the FDA (USA). The bacterial or viral strains used were either standard strain from ATCC (American Type Culture Collection) or from the stored stock cultures of the microbiology lab itself. All ATCC strains used in this project were procured from the ATCC Distributor, Hi-Media Loborataries Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai - India, in sealed packets, and were handed over to the said laboratory in the sealed condition itself. The samples for blessing were supplied to Guruji in sealed tubes / vials by the microbiology laboratory personnel. Guruji’s role was only to perform the blessing, referred in the reports as ‘treatment’, and he was in no way involved either in the supply of any material or in any of the analysis carried out in the project except handing over the blessed samples back to laboratory personnel in the same sealed state as he had received them, following all the precautions as per their instructions. Rest of the materials and analysis of the tests were handled by the microbiology laboratory personnel.
